Dyslexia is a language based learning disorder that affects the ability to read, write, and spell effectively. Dyslexia is not indicative of a low IQ, rather the result of a neurological difference in the brain. One in five people are dyslexic in this country. One in ten affected by dyslexia remain undiagnosed and untreated.

We specialize in helping dyslexic students of all ages uncover their hidden potential, through creative instruction and multisensory activities.

An individual’s ability to manage time, space, materials and information is separate from the ability to know and understand content. Many students with Executive Dysfunction have difficulty managing these organizational systems.

Executive function coaches work towards changing students’ habits in a way that works best for them. The goal is to improve efficiency and productivity in a students’ school, home, and/or work environment.

Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder is a complex neurological condition that may affect the ability to regulate emotions, follow directions, control impulses, retain information, attend and focus for an extended period of time, and use working memory efficiently. This can hinder growth and progress in a traditional school setting.

We offer study skills, executive functioning coaching, and subject based tutoring to assist in their specific areas of need, in order to help students reach their highest potential. A combination of psychological, medical, and educational professionals work together at Multiflex Learning Services In addition, we work closely with a team of professionals for necessary psychological and medical treatment.

Dyslexics consistently rely on the right hemisphere of the brain. The right hemispheric strengths include spatial skills, pattern recognition, and creativity. However, reading requires a strong connection between both hemispheres in order to develop the necessary skills. Without attention to detail, usually employed by the left hemisphere of the brain, reading becomes a very difficult task.

Detecting signs of dyslexia early on preserves those crucial years when children develop a strong reading foundation. Early signs of dyslexia may present itself through difficulties with rhyming, letter recognition and phonemic awareness. Dyslexia presents itself in many ways such as linguistic challenges, poor working memory, and slow processing speed.

We put the health and safety of all clients and staff first. In order to provide a safe learning environment and ensure healthy interactions, we are meeting with students virtually. In-person tutorial services will resume once it is safe to do so.
Our tutors work hard to create meaningful experiences online and to build close relationships through effective online instructional methods.
